About Competition
Code The Earth (CTE) is a national coding competition with the theme of Earth conservation, aimed at Indonesian students aged 8-15! From March to May, you will have the opportunity to join the Koding Next community and participate in many fun and educational activities, both online and offline.

Each participant is only allowed to submit one project. Make sure the project you submit is your best work. 🙂

Stage II Semifinals: We will select the top 10 participants from the Scratch Category and the top 10 participants from the Roblox Category at each Koding Next semifinal location. In total, 200 participants will be invited to compete at Koding Next locations.

Stage III Finals: We will select the top 1 participant from the Scratch Category and the top 1 participant from the Roblox Category at each semifinal location. In total, 20 participants will be invited to compete offline at the final location.

No, there is no registration fee to participate in the National Coding Competition 2024. This competition is completely FREE.
We regret to inform you that students who ranked in the top 10 in the Code The Ocean 2023 competition cannot win in the Code The Air 2024 competition.
Software Requirements:

Scratch 3.0: Participants in the Beginner Category must use Scratch 3.0 to create their competition projects. This software can be accessed via a browser or downloaded for free from the Scratch website.

Roblox Studio: Participants in the Advanced Category must use Roblox Studio to create their competition projects. This software can be downloaded for free from the Roblox website.
Hardware Requirements:

PC/Windows: Windows 10, running Internet Explorer (IE) version 11 or higher. Mac: macOS 10.11 (El Capitan) or later.

Accessories: A 2-button mouse with a scroll wheel will make it easier for you to create your competition project.

Internet Access: An internet connection is essential to keep your software up to date and to ensure successful saving of your competition project to your Scratch 3.0/Roblox account. We recommend an internet connection with a minimum speed of 4-8 MB/s.
